At Habitat for Humanity of Greater Greensboro, we partner with people of all backgrounds throughout the year to build safe and decent housing. Our Pride Builds bring together local LGBTQ+ community members, allies, and homeowners to work side-by-side on the build site, fostering inclusivity and collaboration.

Celebrating and Advocating for LGBTQ+ Communities

Pride Builds are more than just construction events. They are a celebration of our LGBTQ+ homeowners, volunteers, and community members. These events also highlight the decades of systemic discrimination that have prevented LGBTQ+ families and individuals from achieving homeownership, creating persistent biases and inequities.

Join Us in Building a More Inclusive Community

Our Pride Build offers Greensboro’s LGBTQ+ community and allies the chance to come together in support of a more inclusive Guilford County. By building with us, you can learn more about the unique housing challenges faced by the LGBTQ+ community and join Habitat Greensboro in advocating for better housing solutions for all our neighbors.

Volunteer in an Inclusive Environment

Through the Pride Build, community members can volunteer together in an environment where everyone is welcome. This inclusive approach allows us to create a supportive and understanding space for all participants.

Support Long-Term Change

With your support, we aim to create lasting change that removes barriers to housing for everyone, specifically addressing the historical challenges faced by LGBTQ+ communities. Join us in making a difference and building a future where everyone has a decent place to live.

• Unite allies and the LGBTQ+ community to champion inclusive, affordable housing.
• Generate crucial funds to empower Habitat to build more homes.
• Illuminate the unique challenges faced by the LGBTQ+ community, such as social stigma and youth homelessness.
• Offer a powerful opportunity for employee engagement and team building, while expanding your LGBTQ+ organization’s presence in the community.
