Our dedicated volunteers generously share their time and talents with Habitat Greensboro during all types of weather – hot, cold, rain or shine. One hot, humid, 90-degree day in August, a group of six volunteers from Starmount Presbyterian Church volunteered on a Habitat home in the Willow Oaks neighborhood. The intergenerational volunteers ranged from 15 to 69 years old.

The members of the small group brought a positive spirit and a servant’s heart as they worked alongside the Habitat Construction Staff in the heat. Mary Cuadras, a member at Starmount Presbyterian and volunteer that day, shared this about their experience,
“It was so rewarding! We had fun and really enjoyed it! Seeing how Habitat is changing so many lives is a moving experience!”
