Smiles abounded as joy radiated from the faces of volunteers, parents, and children alike this fall when sponsor teams came together to build playhouses for the children and grandchildren of Habitat Greensboro homeowners. The eleven playhouses delighted the fourteen children who will enjoy them while helping these children envision a future where they could own their own homes.

The funds raised through Playhouse Project will fund the construction of a safe, stable, and affordable home in the White Oak Heights community.

Thank you to this year’s participants: CFMA Piedmont Chapter, Hospice of the Piedmont, JC Waller and Associates, Lake Jeanette Orthodontics & Pediatric Dentistry, P&G, Qorvo, Samet, West Market Street United Methodist Church, and Westminster Presbyterian Church.

A very special thank you to the volunteers from Christ United Methodist Church, West Market Street United Methodist Church, and Westminster

Presbyterian Church, who prepped the playhouse project materials.

The date for the next Playhouse Project is TBD. Please visit https://habitatgreensboro.org/playhouse for updates!
