In October, Habitat Greensboro began our 500th build in partnership with homeowners Leon and Donna, and their son Isaiah.
This was so much more than a celebration of our 500th house. It was a celebration of our donors and volunteers, past and present, who have supported Habitat throughout the years, making it possible to reach this amazing milestone! Thank you for sharing your time, talents, and resources and for joining us in our mission to continue building homes, communities and hope for more Greensboro families.

One of Habitat Greensboro’s founders, Bob Kelley, shared his thoughts after attending the 500th house kickoff:

“I’ve always been impressed and awed by the effort and resources that go into each Habitat house. 500 houses is an awesome achievement by staff, volunteers, funders, community partners, the City, the County and, most of all, the homeowner families. Greensboro has been blessed! Thank you to all involved!”
