We’re thrilled to celebrate the recent home dedication for Machalla, a hardworking mom who made her dream of homeownership a reality. Thanks to her determination and the incredible support of Habitat Greensboro’s donors and volunteers, Machalla and her children now have a safe, stable place to call home.

“I am thankful for this opportunity for a new start for me and my children,” Machalla shared during the dedication ceremony.

Her new home is more than just a house—it’s a fresh start and a foundation for a brighter future. We’re so grateful to be part of her journey and to help build a stronger, more stable community.
