Lunch Ministry Volunteers

Lunch Ministry is a volunteer opportunity geared toward groups that provide lunch for the construction volunteers on Thursdays. Groups that participate in this are from a variety of places – religious groups, civic groups, school groups, and businesses all participate.

The week before their scheduled Thursday, the Habitat Lunch Ministry Coordinator will contact you with the number of expected volunteers and the location where you are to serve. This will give ample time for the volunteer group to buy the food for the meals and manage any preparation they are able to do ahead of time. On Thursday, they bring the food to the job site and will stay through lunch, helping to serve the meal while interacting with volunteers, staff and homeowners.
