Lunch Ministry is a volunteer opportunity that involves providing lunch for the construction volunteers on a Thursday or Saturday. Groups that participate in this volunteer opportunity include religious groups, civic groups, school groups, and businesses.

The week before the scheduled day to provide Lunch Ministry, the Habitat Lunch Ministry Coordinator will contact the group with the number of expected volunteers. This will give ample time for the volunteer group to buy/prepare food or place an order for the meals. Two to three days prior to the assigned date, the group will be contacted with the site location where the Lunch Ministry Coordinator will meet you to help set up for lunch. The Lunch Ministry Volunteers are encouraged to stay through lunch and help serve the volunteers, future homeowners and construction staff. It’s a great opportunity to interact with everyone.
