Habitat for Humanity knows that safe, decent, and affordable shelter plays a critical a role in helping families create a new cycle – one filled with possibilities and progress. Affordable homeownership frees families and fosters the skills and confidence they need to invest in themselves and their communities – the outcomes can be long-lasting and life-changing. At Habitat for Humanity of Greater Greensboro, we count on our volunteers to help us provide safe, decent affordable housing. Because they are such a vital part of who we are and what we do, each year, we recognize some of our most-dedicated volunteers with Habitat Greensboro awards.
This year, we expressed appreciation for our volunteers by providing a catered breakfast for them at our West Gate City Restore. A highlight of the event was the awards ceremony, where we recognized some of our most-dedicated volunteers and board members for their exemplary service to Habitat.
