Honor your loved ones with a Habitat Greensboro Holiday Card

Honor family members, friends, and colleagues by sending them Habitat Greensboro’s Holiday Card. This holiday season, we’re revisiting two of our favorite Holiday Card designs – our 2021 and 2022 cards. Our 2021 Holiday Card was designed by Kara Elizabeth Lewis. The theme focused on the spirit of giving, with the artwork based upon a photograph featuring children at the Dedication of a Habitat Greensboro home. Our 2022 card was designed by Greensboro artist Courtney Curtiss. Courtney enjoys working in various mediums but finds that textile and fiber resonate especially well with her more organic creative process, as seen in the card, which was based on a quilting square of a holiday winter scene.

About the Artist:
The 2021 cover artwork was created by Greensboro artist and educator, Kara Elizabeth Lewis, Founder & CEO of Kara Elizabeth, LLC. Inspired by a Holistic and Transformative approach to Art Education, Kara uses creative expression to teach conscious living and peaceful practices.

Kara took inspiration for this year’s card from the touching photograph (right) of two children
greeting one another at a Habitat Greensboro Home Dedication.

Kara enjoys producing work in a variety of mediums, including chalk and charcoal, acrylic, watercolor, and collage. The 2022 cover artwork was created by Greensboro artist, Courtney Curtiss. She has been active in the arts for almost thirty years, including a decade as Curator and Registrar at the Boca Raton Museum of Art in Florida. She enjoys working in various mediums but finds that textile and fiber resonate especially well with her more organic creative process.
