Office Staff Volunteers
Available volunteer times: Monday through Friday – shifts from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
When most people think of volunteering with Habitat, they think of construction sites. However, we utilize volunteers throughout our organization. Join us in the office to assist in day-to-day activities such as greeting people, answering phones, data entry, and mailings. Also, you’ll get to interact with our various departments and help them with special projects as needed. You’ll help Habitat visitors feel welcome and help our office run smoothly and efficiently.
Orientation is required prior to signing up to volunteer in our office. You may download and complete an Office Volunteer Application and email it to our Volunteer Services Coordinator, Cynthia Collins, to schedule an Orientation. Or you may complete one out at the office.
Orientation is held in the Greensboro Housing Hub, in the Triton Building, located at 1031 Summit Avenue, Ste. 2W-2, in Greensboro. Please note that you must be at least 18 to volunteer in our office. We do not accept court-ordered or lawyer recommended hours for administrative opportunities.
