Court Ordered Volunteers
Court and attorney community service referrals may volunteer for Habitat Greensboro Construction and ReStore opportunities.
For Construction opportunities, visit our volunteer website and follow the procedures to respond. Orientation is not required for Construction opportunities. Court ordered community service volunteers must be available to work full days on Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Saturdays from 7:45 am – 3:00 pm. Safety instructions begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. Anyone arriving after 8:00 a.m. will be turned away. All volunteers are responsible for their lunch on weekdays. Lunch will be provided by hospitality and lunch ministries on Saturdays.
To received court ordered community service hours at our ReStores, volunteers must attend a non-negotiable orientation at our flagship ReStore located at 3826 W. Gate City Boulevard. Orientations are held every Tuesday and second Saturday of each month from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. Documentation is not required to attend, unless instructed by the court or your attorney. You will receive an hour credit for attending and you may volunteer the same day, after orientation. If you prefer to volunteer at the Lawndale ReStore, please inform your Orientation Instructor. All ReStore volunteers are required to wear closed-toe shoes and loose, comfortable clothing.
Habitat Greensboro ReStores are located at 3826 W. Gate City Blvd. and 2190 Lawndale Drive. For more information call Cris Capra at 336-851-2929.
