Habitat’s Cars for Homes™ program

Looking for another way to support our mission? Have an older car, truck, van, trailer, RV or boat taking up space in your driveway? Consider donating it to Habitat’s Cars for Homes™ program. When you do, you save the time, energy and expense of finding a buyer, while helping build quality, affordable homes for families in need.

No matter its condition, by donating your old vehicle to Cars for Homes, you’re giving back to Habitat. 100 percent of the net proceeds of the sale of your car will be distributed to our affiliate, while junk cars can be recycled to save energy and natural resources.

After contacting Cars for Homes, you will be asked to provide information about the vehicle you wish to donate, including the make, model, vehicle identification number (VIN) and current mileage. Unless the costs of processing and towing fees exceed the auction value of the vehicle, it can be accepted with proper title information. You will then be given further instructions to complete the process.
